Glen's
Models 68inch CAP232 powered by a Thunder Tiger 91 four-stroke).
Great model - I wish I had bought it earlier. I would
go for a 120 four stroke if I was building another but
the TT91 is more than good enough for general flying around.
Dave
Smith Models "Panther". Nice little fun-fly type
model. Wings are bright pink top and black underside. Sure
makes it stand out in the sky. Started by Hatzov and finished
by Jim McGlynn & myself.
Dave
Smith Models Excelsior 163. 64 inch wingspan, 74 inches
long. Powered by an MVVS 91. Awesome model now gone to
that great model flying site in the sky following an outside
loop which didn't quite make it.
My
Cheetah done in the colour scheme of a T45 Goshawk of
the US navy where it is used for carrier landing training.
Now
gone to that great model flying site in the sky following
a mechanical failure whilst on a routine training flight.
My
son's Travelair. 60" wingspan / Irvine 46.
Upgraded to an Irvine 53 and used for aerobatics practice.
My
Balsa Cabin Rhapsody. 100 inch wingspan electric glider.
Flies on 7 cells. Groupner 500BB Race with 2.8:1 gearbox.
Tarling 40A speed controller. Now sold.
Airtronics
Perigrine thermal / slope soarer. Wingspan 117 inches, length
56 inches. This model won the Scottish Nationals in the
hands of Ron Russell. Unfortunately I had to sell it to
raise money for the CAP232.
My son's first model. Dies when his inverted pass ran
out of height.
My
son's second model, the Twin Jet.
Me
and my Bucker Jungman before its retirement. The fuel soaked
wood was becoming to high a risk so best not to push one's
luck. Irvine 46. Fast, very fast.
